DESCRIPTION:“The Strength of Song and Dance” will feature evocative 
 music and rhythmic movements traditional to the Lenape and Nanticoke 
 tribes\, and modern to all indigenous people.\n\nThe Ellis-Gould family of 
 the Nanticoke Lenni-Lenape tribe\, and Lenapehoking Reestablishment 
 Project\, will be exhibiting some of these dance styles\, educating the 
 public on a variety of art forms\, and speaking on how some untold 
 histories of Indigenous people have directly impacted how Lenape people 
 live today."\n\n \n\nThis program was funded by a grant from the New Jersey 
 State Library’s  REV 250: Examining the Semiquincentennial through a 
 Jersey Lens — an opportunity for public libraries to celebrate New 
 Jersey’s contributions and place in history.
