Chi Kung Classes @ the Library In-Person

Thursdays May 21, 28, June 4, 11

1-2pm at the library gallery

For all levels, including accessible from seated in chair.

Movement meditation for health, longevity, and stress reduction. Using breath, awareness and meditation, chi kung promotes centered being, good balance, and flexibility. An adjunct for many other exercises, it acts as a sensory based exercise that aids older adults and athletes in all stages of life. Chi Kung is similar to Tai Chi, but easier.

Talia deLone, PhD, did her thesis on the health benefits of movement meditation and has decades of experience teaching chi Kung. She taught at Temple and Yale Universities as well as several adult learning institutions. She is a retired psychologist.
